An ankle injury has ruled one Manchester City player out of today's friendly against Palermo
One player who was left out of the Manchester City travelling squad for their friendly against Palermo was Phil Foden. Eyebrows were raised when Foden wasn't included in City's squad. It has now been revealed by Pep Guardiola that the England international has picked up an ankle injury. It is hoped that Foden will be available to play in Manchester City's opening Premier League fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux next weekend. Wirtz makes first start as Liverpool lose to Milan
